The information in your report should change the credit reporting agency after they do an investigation. The duration depends on several factors. You should mail a dispute letter, with evidence that proves you're right and with information about those accounts that do not belong to you. The credit reporting agency should correct the errors in 30 days. If they don’t I suggest you hire a lawyer for consumer protection, because you might be eligible for a lawsuit. After the lawsuit, the CRA should definitely change the reported information and even give you compensation.
